Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez calls Kosovo's declaration of independence illegal

“This is unacceptable for us,” the Spanish prime minister explained.

At the same time, he said that this does not mean that the Spanish side does not maintain a dialogue with Pristina in order to bring Kosovo closer to the European Union.

At the end of June, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that another country had withdrawn recognition of the independence of the self-proclaimed republic of Kosovo, without specifying which state was in question.
