北京卫戍区原国旗中队官兵在营区影壁墙前同习主席合影留念，习主席语重心长地叮嘱他们：“冬天室外温度很低，要注意防寒保暖。”
离开三角山边防连的食堂时，习主席夸奖连队伙食很好，勉励炊事班战士：“希望你们不断提高厨艺，让执勤归来的战友能吃上可口的饭菜。”
每年春节前，习主席都会在百忙之中抽出时间，去部队走一走、看一看，和官兵们聊一聊。
驻四川部队某基地，习主席同西沙某测控点官兵通话，得知岛上驻防条件比较完善，春节期间安排了包饺子、卡拉OK、棋牌和球类比赛，习主席很高兴；
西南边陲某边防营，习主席走进班排、宿舍、卫生所、炊事班，叮嘱部队“安排好节日期间生活，让战士们过一个欢乐、祥和、安全的春节”；
空军航空兵某师，得知部队准备了微视频到前线、送春联、球类比赛等多种形式的趣味活动，习主席称赞活动“有兵味、有特色”……
官兵所忧必念之，官兵所盼必行之。
十年间，在习主席关心关怀下，部队特别是基层的基础设施建设和物质文化生活条件发生了显著变化，基层官兵幸福指数大幅提升。
条件在变，人民军队职责使命没有变；生活好了，革命军人意志品质不能丢。
“现在部队生活条件有了很大改善、各项保障搞得不错，但是，越是条件好了越要发扬艰苦奋斗精神，注重培养吃苦耐劳、以苦为乐的意志品质。”习主席语重心长。
基层至上，士兵第一。
习主席强调：“各级要满腔热忱关心关爱官兵，主动为官兵解决实际困难，把官兵练兵备战积极性、主动性、创造性充分发挥出来，齐心协力把强军事业推向前进。”
十年间，统帅饱含深情的勉励和嘱托，暖了兵心、强了军心。全军各级坚持扭住官兵主体抓基层，尊重官兵主体地位和首创精神，多措并举增强基层内生动力和工作主动性。
推动基层建设全面进步、全面过硬

在中央军委基层建设会议上，习主席提出“全面锻造听党话、跟党走的过硬基层，能打仗、打胜仗的过硬基层，法纪严、风气正的过硬基层”，为我军基层建设擘画出清晰蓝图，为推进强军事业提供坚实基础和支撑。
“实现强军目标，基础在基层，活力也在基层。”习主席对军队基层建设的关心，对基层部队的关爱，持续激发着全军官兵扎根基层、建功基层的满腔热忱，推动基层建设全面进步、全面过硬。
奋斗新时代，人民军队坚决听党指挥，铸牢强军之魂——
“红四连”是一支从黄麻起义诞生的英雄连队。建连95年，从万里长征行军到夜袭阳明堡扬名，从抗美援朝建功到新时代强军精武，连队官兵一颗红心从未改变。
2014年7月，习主席来到驻守福建的“红四连”，一句“我来看看大家”，一下子拉近了统帅与基层官兵的距离。习主席勉励官兵发扬光荣传统、当好红色传人，苦练打仗本领、争做精武标兵。
“这些年，我们牢记习主席嘱托，培育红色传人。新兵入连做的第一件事是参观荣誉室，上的第一堂课是光荣传统课，唱的第一首歌是连歌。”连队政治指导员陈思宇介绍。
深刻厚重的教育内容、新颖活泼的教育形式，在官兵心中播下“红色火种”，点燃了他们的精武强能之志。
奋斗新时代，人民军队加强练兵备战，加快提升能力——
海军舰载航空兵基地担负着我军航母舰载机战斗力生成的任务，锻造着航母编队作战体系的“尖刀”。
2013年8月28日，习主席来到该基地视察，亲切接见首批上舰指挥员、试飞员和舰载机飞行员，勉励大家再接再厉、深入钻研、勤学精练，早日成为优秀的航母舰载机飞行员。
“握着习主席的手，我感到很温暖，充满力量。”回忆那天受到习主席亲切接见时的场景，基地司令员张叶难以忘怀，“‘优秀’二字，字重千钧，饱含了统帅对飞行员们殷切的期望。习主席对航母舰载机部队的勉励，像阳光雨露般温暖着我们，激励我们在强军路上不断飞出新航迹。”
执掌大国重器，丝毫不敢懈怠。近年来，我军航母舰载机事业实现了从试飞着舰到全时起降、从机舰协同到体系融合、从近海飞行到远洋练兵等一系列突破。
奋斗新时代，人民军队加快转型步伐，苦练战斗本领——
某型特种机，是空中信息作战的重要装备。现代战争中，制信息权成为赢得战争胜利的关键。
2021年2月，习主席在视察空军航空兵某师时登上该飞机，进入任务舱察看任务系统，了解特种机工作流程和执行任务情况。习主席强调，要加快发展先进装备，加紧培养专业人才，加强针对性对抗性训练，推动新质战斗力加速提升。
“习主席登上我们的战机，作为机组成员，我既倍感振奋光荣，更觉得使命重大。”中队长任辉说。
在习主席重要讲话精神激励感召下，该师飞行员们苦练本领，在贴近实战中破解各类训练难题，多种战法训法得到优化完善。
奋斗新时代，人民军队从难从严训练，打造战略铁拳——
2015年1月，习主席来到原第二炮兵某基地时作出重要指示，努力把基地打造成为有效慑敌制敌的战略拳头。
这个基地是火箭军组建最早的种子部队之一，是我军的一支重要战略力量。习主席亲自决策将第二炮兵更名为火箭军，发出“努力建设一支强大的现代化火箭军”的号令。
为国执剑，使命如山。
导弹战车的每一次出征，都在打赢路上留下深深辙印；大国长剑的每一次腾飞，都在万里苍穹划出壮美弹道。
一级军士长杨宪伟说：“时不我待投身练兵备战，就是践行习主席嘱托的最好行动。”
7年多的时间里，基地官兵枕戈待旦聚力备战打仗，从难从严组织实战化训练，作战能力连年攀升，战略铁拳越练越硬。
奋斗新时代，人民军队聚力科研攻坚，提升新质战力——
战略支援部队某中心指挥大厅内键盘声声，官兵通过系统展开各项操作，某大项任务扎实推进。
2016年8月，习主席视察战略支援部队机关时指出：“战略支援部队是维护国家安全的新型作战力量，是我军联合作战体系的重要支撑。”
“奋战在新型作战力量生成的前沿，使命感责任感始终激荡在大家心间！”回忆起当时的嘱托，工程师黄炎激动不已。
几年来，中心的团队连续奋战攻克技术难关，探寻依靠科技创新提升战斗力之路，取得多项自主创新成果。
奋斗新时代，人民军队闻令迅即出征，不辱职责使命——
湖北武汉知音湖畔，火神山医院矗立于此。2020年3月，习主席在这里通过远程会诊平台，同正在病区工作的医务人员代表视频连线，询问工作和保障情况。
“我们向主席回敬军礼的时候，内心特别激动。护目镜上的水汽，模糊了我们的视线。”来自联勤保障部队某医院的护士张燕说。
在抗击疫情大战大考中，全军坚决贯彻党中央、中央军委和习主席决策指示，闻令而动、勇挑重担，不负重托、不辱使命，为打赢疫情防控的人民战争、总体战、阻击战作出突出贡献。实践证明，人民军队始终是党和人民完全可以信赖的英雄军队。
奋斗新时代，人民军队热血浇铸忠诚，守护国泰民安——
2014年4月，习主席亲自向武警“猎鹰突击队”授旗，勉励他们努力成为国际一流水平的反恐特战劲旅，永远做党和人民的忠诚卫士。
“猎鹰突击队每一名特战队员都深深认识到了肩头重任。”支队长米彦广说，当好忠诚卫士，要有能打硬仗的使命担当。在官兵们的共同努力下，这支队伍不论作战能力、力量编成还是武器装备都取得了长足发展。
奋斗新时代，人民军队履行维和使命，展示良好形象——
维和、护航、提供人道主义医疗救助……人民军队致力于构建人类命运共同体，向世界传播着和平友谊。
