The Turkish newspaper, "Star",

published a report

on Turkey's readiness for what it called a "strategic hurricane" and the uncertainty surrounding the world, saying that Ankara is ready with democracy, reforms and a strong security structure.

The report said that military and intelligence operations in Iraq, Syria, Libya, the Nagorno-Karabakh region and the eastern Mediterranean, defense industries, and internal security reforms;

It resulted from a national power that would create national self-synergy.

The report indicated that Turkey has entered a stage in which the discussion of security threats, policies and security reforms has become a priority all over the world, a debate that culminated with the Ukraine war and decisively affected the positions of countries and their alliances among themselves on various issues, from foreign policy to energy, and from Education to tourism.

Why criticize Turkish security policies?

The report stated that Turkey has long been subjected to criticism from within and outside, claiming that it has abandoned democratic transformation and reform, and has turned to an adverse security policy.

He pointed out that these allegations clearly aim to criticize Turkey's foreign policy, its defense policy, and its policy in combating "terrorism", and show that domestic and foreign theorists who make these allegations turn a blind eye to the major security threats facing Turkey, from "terrorism" to the coup.

The report said that all these threats were made only by "terrorist" coup organizations backed by foreign powers and countries, as he put it.

In the writer's opinion, critics' calling the July 15, 2016 bloody coup attempt a "play" shows that they share the same political perspective with those who pose security threats, and that they are far removed from the realities of the world and Turkey.

Turkey has the ability to deal with security threats

The report noted that Turkey has the effective capacity to deal with threats to national security, national sovereignty and a common national identity that are developing against the country through its past reforms and democratic management.

He pointed out that Ankara has taken measures against geopolitical and national risks and international threats, but some groups in Turkey claim that all this has not been achieved on a national and democratic scale, and that Turkey must either submit completely to the Western system or separate from the world in an authoritarian manner.

The report continued, saying that thanks to the determination of the political will and political stability that arose in the first decade of this century, Turkey turned, since 2007, to the implementation of major defense industry projects, which would save Turkey from dependence on the West, and soon the results of political stability led to A series of sudden and accelerated changes in products and political thought.

Thanks to this, according to the newspaper, Turkey was able to reduce its dependence on the outside in the defense industry by 30%, and the foundations of strategic autonomy began to emerge.

intelligence reform

The report stated that Turkey started the process of national unity and brotherhood in the Middle East in order to prepare for a change in foreign policy by arranging the internal situation at the hands of the National Intelligence.

He pointed out that the Turkish intelligence succeeded in eliminating local guardianship centers, isolating "terrorist" organizations, keeping issues within national borders, and anticipating the turmoil that it could face before the strategic hurricane that could ravage the world.
