At the center of the Soprogi primary school in the Moukondo district, in the fourth arrondissement, the counting took place under the gaze of the police officers.

The activists of the two candidates who clashed did not have the right to attend the counting.

They were screaming in anger thinking they could follow him closely.

Between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time, the vote did not mobilize many people.

For example, in a college in the fourth arrondissement, 986 voters were registered, but less than two hours before the closing of the offices, barely 117 had gone to perform their duty.

In front of the press, Henri Bouka, president of the electoral commission put into perspective: “

The vote did not know a great mobilization in Brazzaville with a participation around 25%.

But a craze has been observed inside the country

 ”.

No major incident has so far been reported in Brazzaville, which had eight constituencies on the ballot.

This Sunday's vote involved 25 constituencies across the country.

At least 6,000 election workers have been deployed.
