The president of the Hauts-de-France region will launch his brand new movement "We France" on October 1, in Saint-Quentin in the Aisne.

The LR figure wants to embody a republican alternative driven by the general interest and avoid the rise of extremes in power in 2027.

The LR president of the Hauts-de-France region Xavier Bertrand will officially launch his new movement, "We France", on October 1 in Saint-Quentin, in Aisne, according to the site of this new party.

"The right and the center are the only political forces that can tomorrow embody a republican alternative driven by the general interest and prevent the Front National or France Insoumise from coming to power in 2027", wrote Xavier Bertrand on the site nousfrance on Friday. .Fr.

Information revealed by the newspaper Le Figaro.

A movement that will be structured "at the local level"

"But (...) we are starting from afar and that is why I am drawing up a lucid but uncompromising assessment of the current situation of our political family", adds the ex-minister.

“With Nous France, we must speak again to entrepreneurs, young people, city dwellers, employees, workers… Our movement thus continues to structure itself at the local level and within thematic collectives”, continues the president of Nous France.

"With the delegates of Nous France, I hope that we will meet on Saturday October 1st in Saint-Quentin to discuss the vision and the concrete proposals that our movement must bring to the public debate", adds Xavier Bertrand, inviting "all those who share the passion of France and the desire to give it new perspectives" to participate.

Beaten in the Republican primary, Xavier Bertrand had called, in an interview with the weekly Le Point published on Wednesday, his LR party to "not be in the camp of blockers" during this new five-year term.
