• Crisis Pedro Sánchez recommends avoiding the tie in the face of the energy crisis

The Government of Juanma Moreno is willing to challenge the central Executive by promoting a new tax cut that allows more liquidity for families.

The new Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds of the Junta de Andalucía,

Carolina España,

has given this Saturday more details of the tax reform that Moreno already announced in his investiture speech, where he promised to deflate (revise downwards) the

regional sections of the IRPF

for the medium and low incomes, a reduction that he trusts will be noticed in the domestic economies since the net salary of the workers will increase and the citizen "will have more money in his pocket" to face the problems economy and rising prices.

The Andalusian PP positions itself as the champion of the opposition strategy of Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who calls on Pedro Sánchez for measures in this direction to compensate for the loss of purchasing power of families due to the growing

price inflation

suffered by the Spanish economy and which shows no signs of softening in the coming months.

In this regard, the Chairman of the Board, Juanma Moreno, has responded ironically to the measures announced by Pedro Sánchez to deal with the energy and price crisis: "The solution is not the

knot of the tie

that squeezes the It is the knot that forms in the stomach when one sees their unemployed son and daughter at home and when one is over 50 years old and can no longer find any job opportunities, that is the true knot that Andalusian families have and Spanish".

[Pedro Sánchez has recommended avoiding the tie during the summer months to combat the heat without abusing the air conditioners].

During a meeting with militants of the

PP of Malaga

held in Fuengirola, the new Minister of Economy and Finance advanced some details of the changes planned in the

Income Tax on Physical Persons

and announced that the minimum personal and family exempt amount will be raised.

In this regard, he explained that the administrations have sufficient margin to make this reduction without affecting the provision of services, since as a result of the rise in prices and the reactivation of the economy, the

Government of Spain

has collected 15,500 million more than it entered in 2021 between January and May alone.

In the case of Andalusia, the extra collection reaches 890 million euros, 375 million of which correspond to taxpayers residing in the province of

Malaga

, according to data provided by the counselor.

"It's outrageous," said Spain, which called on the National Government to "return" Andalusians what they have overpaid: "It cannot be that families are at the limit and the government collects more," he said.

The reduction in the regional section of personal income tax is added to the elimination in 2023 of the

canon for hydraulic works

that Andalusians pay in the water bill, as Moreno also announced during the electoral campaign.

In addition, the counselor announced that the Board will carry out a new plan to save public spending with the intention of eliminating all the "grease" that can be found in the cost of administration.

"If families are tightening their belts, our government will tighten what is not strictly necessary," she added.

With this savings plan, the Board hopes to offset the increase in the structure of its new government, with

13 ministries,

two more than in the first government of Juanma Moreno.

In 2019, Ciudadanos demanded an adjustment in the number of departments, which forced the unification of powers.

Later, Moreno himself recognized that this condensation formula caused some "dysfunctions" and, therefore, on this occasion a slightly larger structure has been chosen.

The Andalusian executive believes, however, that it is still possible to cut expendable spending, that

"grease"

that the new counselor talks about and that will foreseeably have to leave the instrumental entities, as has been the PP's commitment since its arrival to the Board.

And, finally, Juanma Moreno has announced that his government will

wage "open war on the bureaucracy"

, with a new legal and administrative simplification decree along the lines of the two approved in the previous legislature.

The Minister of the Economy, for her part, acknowledged that the economic situation "does not look good", but she does not believe that the worsening of conditions is due exclusively to the pandemic or the international crisis resulting from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

She recalled in this regard that, before the war, inflation in Spain was already around

6.5%.

At this juncture, he regretted that the Government of Pedro Sánchez contributes to the "suffocation" of families with "continuous tax increases" through personal income tax, corporate tax, insurance premiums, tax on beverages, Google rate , Tobin tax" or even "taxes on electricity companies and banks, which we already know who will end up paying them: the citizens".

Carolina Spain repeated the balance that the Andalusian Government makes of its

first tax reduction

, which has allowed, she says, to collect 925 million more, have 280,000 new taxpayers and add 80,000 people who have decided to come to live in Andalusia". "That is retaining talent , create employment and social welfare," he added.

Despite demanding a review of taxes from Sánchez, the councilor recalled that Andalusia is one of the worst-financed communities with the current distribution model of State funds.

Every year, she assured her, the community loses one billion euros.

The counselor, as the president of the Board has also done in recent weeks, assured that the Andalusian Executive will be "belligerent" so that the

financing deficit

is recognized and the creation of a new, more equitable model is promoted.
