Panama intends to subsidize the prices of many essential goods

It is noted that the measures will affect imported personal hygiene products, as well as some locally produced food.

The latter will have to be sold at a price reduced by 25%.

Earlier, the Panamanian authorities decided to extend the period for subsidizing electricity prices for the population until August 31.
