After several hours spent in traffic jams or on the trains, on this crossover weekend, holidaymakers are enjoying their safe arrival.

We had to be patient before arriving at our destination and being able to put down our suitcases this Saturday.

In this crossover weekend, the traffic was particularly dense on the motorways and sometimes disrupted in the trains.

Europe 1 met several of these summer visitors at the Garlaban campsite near Marseille.

After 8 hours by car, from Maine et Loire, Damien and Mélissa finally put down their suitcases in Provence.

No more traffic jams, hello holidays.

"It didn't go badly though. We had a bit of a slowdown in Clermont-Ferrand and a bit in Valence", testifies Damien.

Between relaxation and OM match

"It's the first time we've come here, on this side of France. It's an opportunity to come and visit a little bit," adds Mélissa.

At the reception, all these holidaymakers meet in all directions.

For Anne-Laure and her family, already in flip-flops and swimsuits, the program is "mainly relaxation".

"We are fans of OM", they confirm.
