The Mossos have arrested
a father and his 16-year-old son
by surprising the minor driving the car in which the family was traveling because the couple was drunk and asked the young man to take them
to the hotel where they are staying
in Sitges (Barcelona) .

The event, as sources from the Mossos have explained to EFE, has taken place around half past three last morning at kilometer 39 of the C-246a highway, in Sitges, where the Catalan police
had set up a breathalyser control.
The agents stopped a vehicle in which
a young man, his parents and a minor brother
were traveling , all of them foreign tourists.
When the police asked the young man to identify himself, he claimed that he did not have the documentation while the agents verified that
the parents were under the influence of alcohol
.
Finally, the parents explained that they
had attended a night show
, during which they had drunk alcohol.
When they had to drive back to the hotel, they decided it was better not to drive in their condition and
asked their 16-year-old son
, who does not have a driving license, to drive them to the hotel.
The circumstance occurs that the marriage
had left another minor son, 9 years old
, alone in the hotel to attend the show.
Finally, the Mossos arrested the 16-year-old
for not having a license and despite driving a car
, and his father as
inducer of the son's crime
, since he asked him to drive even knowing that he lacked a permit, and for another
abandonment of minors, since a 9-year-old boy was left alone in the hotel
.
The mother is
accused of the same crimes
but remains free to be able to take care of her two minor children.
