Cross-border smuggling, "water passenger" smuggling, smuggling of duty-free "package purchasing" on the outlying islands of Hainan, and smuggling of drugs and guns, a total of 21,567 smuggling cases of various types were investigated and dealt with, with a value of 41.757 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), suspected of tax evasion 4.676 billion yuan.

In the first half of this year, the Anti-Smuggling Department of Guangdong Province and the Anti-Smuggling Bureau of Haikou Customs filed a total of 814 smuggling cases involving tax evasion of 38 million yuan in outlying islands.
