The explanatory note to the draft refers to the need to “establish measures aimed at ensuring the intellectual, moral and mental security of society, including in the form of a ban on actions aimed at popularizing the denial of family values and non-traditional sexual relations.”
Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, commented on this bill in an interview with RT.
