The MP recalled that from June 1, 2022, on behalf of the President, the cost of living was increased by 10%.

“This entailed additional costs for regional budgets to cover the difference between the increased subsistence level of a pensioner and pensions of citizens, and 10 billion rubles allocated by the Russian government will be directed to eliminate this discrepancy,” Bessarab explained.

Earlier, the Russian government allocated an additional 10 billion rubles to support non-working pensioners in the Russian regions.

Additional payments will be able to receive more than 1 million non-working pensioners.
