The Chief Executive's Instruction No. 136/2022 was published in the Official Gazette of the Macao Special Administrative Region today, announcing the launch of a new round of open bidding for casino games of fortune operation grants. The number of grants is 6, and the maximum grant period is 10 years. .
According to the regulations of the Chief Executive's instructions, this open auction adopts a simple open auction method. Companies that intend to participate in the auction must bid before 5:45 pm on September 14.
In order to be accepted to participate in the bidding, the relevant companies must submit the required qualification documents and tenders stipulated by Administrative Regulation No. 26/2001, comply with other conditions stipulated in the bidding plan, and provide a security deposit of not less than 10 million patacas. .
According to the instructions of the Chief Executive, when selecting bidding companies and conducting bid evaluation, special consideration should be given to plans to develop foreign tourist markets, experience in operating casino games of fortune or related aspects, investment in gaming projects and non-gaming projects to the Macau SAR benefits, plans to manage the casino, plans to monitor and prevent illegal activities in the casino, and social responsibilities to be assumed.
The Chief Executive's order will take effect on the day following its promulgation.
