The Boston Anti-Corruption Foundation published an annual report without financial data, according to which new faces were added to the leadership of the foundation.

In addition to the listed Zhdanov, Pevchikh and Yulia Navalnaya, Anna Veduta, the former press secretary of Alexei Navalny, who took over as vice president of the Anti-corruption Foundation, began working in the fund.

Previously, the management of the fund included only ex-employee of the FBK investigation department Leonid Volkov (as president), FBK executive director Vladimir Ashurkov and former owner of the Life financial group Alexander Zheleznyak.

In Russia, Zheleznyak is accused of embezzling 28 billion rubles from Probusinessbank.

Ashurkov has been sought since 2014 on charges of embezzling 10 million rubles while collecting donations in favor of Navalny.

Volkov was put on the wanted list in February 2021 on charges of involving teenagers in illegal rallies.

As RT previously reported, the non-profit organization Anti-Corruption Foundation, Inc.

was opened July 27, 2021, in Massachusetts.

The creation of this fund was conceived as an alternative to the Russian FBK, which is recognized in Russia as an extremist organization and, therefore, has no right to conduct any activity.

The document states “participation in anti-corruption and human rights projects in the USA, Russia, Europe and the rest of the world” as the goals of creating the American fund.

Also, according to RT, the United States was chosen for the convenience of conducting transactions - after the Russian fund was recognized as extremist, it could only accept donations through the American payment service Stripe.
