The Mohammed bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher has completed the first phase of evaluating candidacy applications in its fourth session, with the results to be announced next October and the best entries will be honored, in preparation for the participation of qualified teachers in the second phase of the award, which has prizes worth up to one million dirhams for the winner. .

The Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Zayed Award for the Best Teacher, Dr. Hamad Ahmed Al Darmaki, said that the value of the award cognitively was positively reflected in the remarkable increase in the number of participations from teachers, in addition to achieving an additional gain, which is the participation of other Arab countries with the accession of the Syrian Arab Republic, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Tunisia to the The award is in its fourth session, along with the Arab Gulf states, Egypt and Jordan.

He added that there is another justification and motivation for the permanent improvement of the award, which has gained great and wide confidence and a steady spread to move to the world, by the accession of other countries such as Switzerland, Finland and Austria, as well as opening the way for foreign and non-Arabic speaking teachers in private and international schools to apply and register in English.

He stressed that the sponsorship and support he received from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, formed the motivation and incentive for what it has reached today in terms of leadership and a prominent position locally, Arably and globally, noting that this benefit would not have been achieved without the leadership's belief in the value of education.
