At least 13 Venezuelans killed in Nicaragua bus accident
At least 13 Venezuelans were killed in a traffic accident when a bus they were traveling in plunged into a cliff in the northeastern Central American country, Nicaragua police said on Thursday.
Police said in a statement that the bus, which was traveling on a highway in the Esteli region of Nicaragua, was traveling at great speed and collided with two cars before crashing into a deep cliff on Wednesday evening.
Police added that a Nicaraguan man also died in the accident, in which 47 other people were injured.
Other officials gave varying numbers for the death toll from the accident.
