Regarding the report that "the president of Roscosmos stated that Russia will withdraw from the International Space Station program in 2024", according to Agence France-Presse, a senior NASA official said on July 26 that the United States has not yet received to Russia's "any official statement" on the news.

  "We haven't received any official word from our partners on this news today," NASA International Space Station Director Robin Gattens reportedly said.

Asked if he wanted to end the U.S.-Russian space relationship, Robin Gattens replied: "No, absolutely not."

  According to previous media reports, on July 26, local time, Borisov, President of Roscosmos, said when reporting to President Vladimir Putin that the Russian aerospace industry was in a difficult situation.

He also said that Russia has decided to withdraw from the International Space Station program in 2024, and Russia will start building its own space station in 2024.
