The TICAD = Tokyo International Conference on African Development is an international conference led by the Government of Japan, and this time, the eighth time, will be held in Tunisia, North Africa, on the 27th and 28th of next month.

Prime Minister Kishida is coordinating to visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the Middle East, and UAE = United Arab Emirates to attend this event.

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in late February, Prime Minister Kishida has requested cooperation from Saudi Arabia and other countries to stabilize the energy market, and this time, while crude oil prices have remained high, crude oil and LNG = liquefied natural gas. We would like to discuss the stabilization of the international energy market such as gas.

In addition, it seems that they will negotiate directly with each other to encourage the increase in crude oil production and to act as a bridge between Europe, the United States and the Middle East, with Russia in mind.
