“Austin discussed with Reznikov the results of the latest meeting of the contact group on defense assistance to Ukraine and ongoing assistance, including the recent US decision on additional HIMARS MLRS,” RIA Novosti quotes the Pentagon press service.

In particular, Austin told his Ukrainian colleague that aid is being delivered as quickly as possible.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with RT and RIA Novosti that the geographical objectives of the special military operation in Ukraine had changed.

Lavrov noted that as the West pumps more and more long-range weapons into Ukraine, such as HIMARS, the geographical objectives of the special operation will move even further from the current line.
