The ministry clarified that during the exercise, issues of using groupings of troops to ensure military security in the Eastern Region will be worked out.
In addition to the VVO forces, part of the Airborne Forces, long-range aviation and military transport aviation, as well as foreign contingents, will be involved in the exercises.
“Practical operations of the troops (forces) will take place at the training grounds of the Eastern Military District Bidzhansky, Burduny, Anna Bukhta, Goryachiye Klyuchi, Knyaz-Volkonsky, Litovko, Lagunnoye, Mukhor-Kondui, Novoselsky, Sergeevsky, Telemba, Uspenovsky and Tsugol,” the Defense Ministry said.
At the end of June, in the Trans-Baikal and Primorsky Territories, fighters and attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces worked out the destruction of conditional ground targets at aviation training grounds.
