Abu Dhabi Pensions Authority: The directives of the President of the State enhance the social well-being of citizens

The Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, Salem Al Nuaimi, valued the decision adopted by the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, to raise the percentage of the pensionable salary for citizens working in government schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to 80% of the salary. The total, stressing that it directly contributes to increasing the value of the retirement pension for workers in government schools in the emirate, in order to ensure a decent life for them and their families after retirement.

Al Nuaimi stressed that the decision reflects the keenness of His Highness the President of the State to support citizens in various sectors, especially the education sector, which the state gives great care, given its importance, and in appreciation of the role of the teacher and all workers in the educational system for their contributions to building and advancing the state.

He said, "The leadership does not hesitate to take initiatives and directives that guarantee all means of comfort and well-being for citizens."

For his part, the Director General of Retirement Affairs of the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, Khalaf Abdullah Rahma Al Hammadi, confirmed that the decision comes as a continuation of a series of generous initiatives by the leadership, to enhance the quality of life and social well-being of citizens, pointing out that this decision will lead to an increase in the value of the pension for its beneficiaries, which reduces From the gap in monthly income in the stage of work, and after retirement, and enhances the level of their social life.

Al Hammadi said that the leadership spares no effort in improving the lives of citizens, by introducing decisions and initiatives that would support citizens and provide them with comfort and a decent life upon retirement and after their long service to the country.
