“It is also advisable to involve other countries that demonstrate an independent position on the Ukrainian issue based on international law, in particular, Syria, Iran and Bolivia, in the work on the formation of an international body of justice,” Bastrykin said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

In his opinion, the creation of such a tribunal under the auspices of the UN, taking into account the position of the West, is “extremely doubtful” today.

Bastrykin noted that it would be appropriate to work out the issue of creating an international tribunal with Russian partners in the CIS, CSTO, BRICS, SCO.

Earlier, Bastrykin proposed the creation of an international tribunal for the crimes of the Kyiv regime in Ukraine and the Donbass.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexei Chepa, in an interview with RT, supported the proposal to create an international tribunal for the crimes of the Kyiv regime in Ukraine and the Donbass.
