The National Assembly has been conducting questions to the government in the field of politics, diplomacy, unification and security from the afternoon of the 25th.

From the beginning of the question to the government, the former and current justice ministers faced each other.

Rep. Park Beom-gye of the Democratic Party intensively questioned Minister Han Dong-hoon about the personnel information management group established directly under the Minister of Justice.

When the Ministry of Justice, which does not have personnel authority for political officials, questioned that it was the rule of law nongdan, the Minister of Justice responded that there was no legal problem, saying that the matter had been decided by the Ministry of Justice.

[Park Beom-gye/Democratic Rep.: Minister Han Dong-hoon does not verify if he likes me, but verifies if he likes me?]

[Han Dong-hoon/Minister of Justice: If it is wrong for me to do this, then all personnel verification work done in the Senior Civil Affairs Office in the past government is illegal. It

is.]

Former and current justice ministers clashed over the appointment of prosecutors.

When Rep. Park criticized whether there was any precedent for saying that a minister had done all the appointments for prosecutors while the prosecutor general had been vacant for two months, Minister Park did not back down, saying that Rep. Park also passed Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol during his time as justice minister.

Rep. Park then said that he had two personnel consultations with then-President Yoon Seok-yeol, and Minister Han countered that he had also held personnel consultations with the acting prosecutor general more than 10 times.

Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min denied the allegations that the establishment of the police department was trying to interfere with the police investigation.

However, he said that the meeting of the national police chiefs was clearly illegal, saying that the meeting was in direct opposition to the command of the police chief.
