According to him, the Foreign Ministry is analyzing the situation in connection with Kyiv's decision to terminate the 1997 agreement between Russia and Ukraine, which allowed citizens of the countries to make mutual trips without visas.

“The Russian side has not made a similar decision, and Ukrainian citizens are still not required to apply for a visa to enter our country,” Volynkina is quoted by TASS.

On June 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the introduction of a visa regime for Russians from July 1.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that the presence of a visa does not guarantee entry into the country.
