The FSB of Russia announced the suppression of the military intelligence operation of Ukraine to hijack Russian combat aircraft.

According to the department, the operation was supervised by the special services of NATO countries.

“Ukrainian military intelligence officers, acting on behalf of the political leadership of their country, tried to recruit Russian military pilots for a monetary reward and guarantees of obtaining citizenship of one of the EU countries.

To persuade them to fly and land aircraft at airfields controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ”the ministry said.

According to the FSB, Ukrainian intelligence intended to hijack the plane during its sortie.

The agency published a fragment of a telephone conversation between a Ukrainian Air Force officer named Oleg and one of the Russian pilots regarding the safe flight of the aircraft over the territory of Ukraine.

“We expect you on the front line to drop to a height of 50 or even lower.

If you go to the limit - generally super.

And then I gave you a climb line there ... We can very elementarily direct our fighters and intercept you.

They will settle down and lead you further,” says the Ukrainian officer.

According to the FSB, for the purpose of hijacking, the Ukrainian side considered such aircraft as the Su-24, Su-34 or Tu-22MZ.

A batch of weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the LPR

Servicemen of the Russian Guard found a large batch of weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), the press service of the department said.

“Rosguards found NLAW ATGMs, 20 grenade launchers and mortars, about 500 rounds for them, a MG 42 machine gun and seven more small arms, more than 21 thousand ammunition for it, 350 ammunition for large-caliber weapons, more than 100 artillery shells, foreign-made mines, 50 hand grenades,” the department said.

Referendums in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions

Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the Kherson region, said that Ukrainian troops made another attempt to counterattack the region, but failed.

“Firstly, the Kherson region is a steppe, any movement of the Ukrainian army ends in unsuccessful attacks.

Secondly, all their attempts only lead to heavy losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

The Zelensky regime simply thoughtlessly throws people to certain death, ”Stremousov told RIA Novosti.

The deputy head of the Supreme State Administration of the Kherson region believes that the Ukrainian side is deliberately escalating the situation in relation to the region in order to receive wider financial support from the West.

“And the fact that the Kherson region will again return under the control of Ukraine, that there will be a counteroffensive, is all fantasy.

The nationalists do not have such forces and a regular professional army that could somehow counteract the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, ”Stremousov said.

In addition, Stremousov again noted that a referendum on inclusion in Russia would be held in the region.

In his opinion, the shelling of the Kherson region is connected with an attempt to disrupt the people's will.

“We are preparing for the referendum.

It will pass anyway.

The referendum will be held in a legal field, and no one will interfere with its holding, ”he stressed.

Meanwhile, in the Zaporozhye region, they announced the start of issuing birth certificates of the Russian type.

“In addition, young parents will be able to take advantage of all support measures.

We are talking about all the benefits that little Russians can use, ”RIA Novosti quotes Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the regional administration.

According to him, Russian birth certificates for children can already be obtained in Melitopol, Berdyansk and Energodar.

Rogov also suggested that the referenda on joining Russia Zaporozhye and Kherson regions could be held on the same day.

“I think it may well be (holding referendums on the same day. -

We are at the level of consultations with our Kherson colleagues, because we do the same thing and act on the same front,” he added.
