High-precision missiles: Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of a Ukrainian warship and US missiles in the port of Odessa

The Russian Navy destroyed a Ukrainian warship and a warehouse of American Harpoon missiles in the port of Odessa with long-range precision missiles.

This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“In the seaport of the city of Odessa, on the territory of a shipyard, sea-based high-precision long-range missiles destroyed a Ukrainian warship in the dock and a warehouse of Harpoon anti-ship missiles supplied by the United States to the Kyiv regime,” the message says.

It is noted that the production facilities of the enterprise for the repair and modernization of the ship structure of the Naval Forces of Ukraine were also disabled.

In addition, in Nikolaev, attacks were made on the weapons and ammunition depots of the 28th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 123rd territorial defense brigade on the territory of a diesel locomotive repair plant.

“More than 50 personnel, more than 3 thousand artillery ammunition of various calibers and ten pieces of armored vehicles were destroyed.”

In the Nikolaev area, the Bukovel electronic warfare complex was destroyed, the Defense Ministry said.

“In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian air strikes destroyed two units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine up to a company, two M777 howitzers made by the United States,” said Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In addition, the Russian military hit the aircraft of the Ukrainian armed forces at the Kanatovo military airfield in the Kirovograd region.

It is noted that since the beginning of the special operation, 260 aircraft, 144 helicopters, 1605 UAVs, 357 air defense systems, 4156 tanks and other armored vehicles have already been destroyed.

Also destroyed were 4,457 military vehicles, 3,196 artillery pieces and mortars, and 763 multiple rocket launchers.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about “flagrant Russian barbarism.”

She quoted Zelensky as saying: “If anyone else could say that some kind of dialogue with Russia is needed, look at what is happening.
