Video: Boris Johnson participates in Ukrainian forces training to confront Russia
The outgoing British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, made a special visit to the city of Yorkshire to participate in the exercises conducted by the United Kingdom to rehabilitate the Kyiv forces as their country's war against Russia intensified.
In a video posted by Johnson on his official account, the Prime Minister can be seen wearing full military gear and tactical headphones while experimenting with a variety of weapons under the eyes of British commanders.
The military exercise is the second for the outgoing prime minister to be revealed this week, after a video of him giving his best impression of the 'Top Gun' was released from the cockpit of a Typhoon fighter jet on Monday.
Johnson's trip to Yorkshire, Ukraine, came just days after he agreed to resign after a wave of resignations in the wake of the Chris Pincher scandal, sparking a leadership battle for the Conservative Party that has seen a dwindling number of contenders with his former adviser Rishi Sunak and Secretary of State Liz Truss.
This week I visited Ukrainian troops being trained by British Armed Forces in North Yorkshire.
The UK is committed to doing all we can to help Ukraine continue to repel Russian aggression.
