The dispute comes over the use of one rhyme, and a complete verse, with the modification of one word in it, as the beginning of the song written by Hosni says:

I asked him whether the disease of fetishism ** The answer was he stopped ** The leg of the pampered the leg of the pet ** The keys to his passion were blocked ** And I walked awkwardly in Farewell and no offender, why should he return it ** The one who opened the door of pain is obligated to return it.

As for the quartet of Adel Saber, it says: The type of flour is recognized and revealed by his response ** And if your question is ugly, he will love from his response ** All calamities must have causes ** And whoever opened the door of ruin must answer it.

Copyright

On its official website, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) defines copyright as “a legal term describing the rights granted to creators with respect to their literary and artistic works. Copyright covers a wide range of works, from books, music, paintings, sculptures and films.”

The organization, which includes 193 members, including the Arab Republic of Egypt, acknowledged that “it is not usually possible to find complete lists of copyrighted works in legislation,” but the organization clarified that “the protection granted by copyright includes expressions and not ideas, or procedures, or working methods, or mathematical concepts as such.”

and “Copyright protection may or may not be available for a number of subjects such as titles, short sentences or logos, depending on the degree to which they contain an element of paternity.”

Therefore, it seems that the matter will only be resolved by a court ruling on the extent to which the sentence of Mohamed Mounir's new song is similar to the sentence written by poet Adel Saber, unless the two reach an amicable settlement.
