A source in the Yemeni government delegation to the consultations to open the roads in Taiz stated that the Houthi militia is trying to circumvent the acceptance of the extension of the truce in order to obtain gains. Any extension of the armistice or arrangements for more concessions to the Houthis.

Yemeni diplomatic sources had stated that the militias' refusal to open major roads in Taiz would be a potential serious obstacle to extending the truce, as well as the militias' continuation of their violations and military operations on various fronts.

In Taiz, the local authority in the governorate rejected any talk of extending the truce with the UN military delegation visiting the governorate, noting that any discussion about the Sixty-Fifty Road promoted by the Houthis is a violation of the previous truce.

The local authority renewed its adherence to the UN proposal backed by the international community to open roads, which includes a main road to the city of Taiz, and rejected any alternative proposals that include new concessions in favor of the Houthi militia, which has besieged the city for nearly eight years.

Regarding the daily violations, field sources in Marib confirmed that the Houthi militias escalated their attacks during the past few hours on the southern and western fronts, noting that the recent escalation targeted the positions of the Yemeni army and the resistance in the sandy and mountainous axes, in which the militias used missiles and booby-trapped marches.

The media center of the Yemeni army announced the killing of 12 soldiers and the wounding of 19 others as a result of the militias' violations of the UN truce within 48 hours, noting that the Houthis committed 277 violations of the armistice on the fronts of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Jawf and Marib.

In Al-Bayda, a tribal mediation succeeded in stopping the Houthi attacks and lifting the siege on the "Khubzah" area in the Quraysh district, and the tribal delegation from the Qaifa Radaa tribe was able to enter the area and break the siege imposed by the militias a week ago.

Local and tribal sources said that the Houthi attacks on the village of Khubza left 13 people dead, including children and women, and injured dozens, some of them seriously.

In Ibb, 10 militia members were killed and wounded by tribesmen in the "Ramadah" area in the Al-Adin district, west of the governorate, after militia members attempted to loot the lands of the people of the area by force.
