According to him, the mercenaries were part of the "special operations forces" and died during shelling near the village of Grigorievka on July 18.

Earlier, a US State Department spokesman told ABC News that two American citizens who allegedly fought in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recently died in the Donbass.
