More than 60 militants destroyed: Russian artillery hit the positions of the Donbass national formation in Verkhnekamenskoe

The Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the work of special forces units of the Western Military District during a special operation.

“In the course of carrying out tasks to open the disguised positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a special forces group of the Western Military District conducted reconnaissance and search operations behind the line of contact with the enemy,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that the group discovered an advanced patrol of Ukrainian nationalists covering the positions of a disguised stronghold and positions with equipment.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the sniper, who occupied an advantageous position, warned in advance about the opening of the enemy patrol.

“The enemy’s advanced patrol was destroyed by small arms fire,” the ministry said.

After that, the group retreated to a safe distance and, having specified the coordinates of the enemy, brought artillery fire.

Scouts, snipers, engineers, communications specialists and military medics as part of the group went to the area where, presumably, there were units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After returning to the area of ​​​​search operations and clarifying the coordinates of enemy strongholds, the group fired artillery.

“Based on the results of the work of the special forces group of the Western Military District, an accurate artillery strike was inflicted on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Defense Ministry said.

Also, the Ministry of Defense reported the liquidation of more than 60 nationalists of the Donbass formation in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Belogorovka.

“During the day, 12 command posts, four warehouses with rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition in the areas of the settlement of Nikanorovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the city of Nikolaev, as well as manpower and military equipment in 226 districts, were hit,” the Defense Ministry said.

Also, as part of the counter-battery fight, three Grad MLRS platoons were suppressed in the areas of Adamovka, Slavyansk and Seversk, three artillery platoons of Msta-S self-propelled guns, ten artillery platoons of Msta-B guns, 24 artillery platoons of D-20 and 15 howitzers artillery platoons of self-propelled guns "Gvozdika".

In total, 260 aircraft, 144 helicopters, 1,600 UAVs, 4,146 tanks and armored vehicles, 357 air defense systems, 763 MLRS combat vehicles, 3,185 field artillery pieces and 4,453 military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the operation.

HPP not damaged

The DPR announced another shelling of the Ukrainian military.

According to the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC), Ukrainian armed formations fired at the Kyiv and Kirov regions of Donetsk from the BM-21 Grad MLRS.

It is noted that 15 rockets were fired at the Kievsky district, ten rockets at the Kirovsky district.

In the Kherson region, they reported about the shelling of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the Kherson region, said that the hydroelectric power station itself was not affected.

“They shot at Kakhovka, but the HPP was not damaged.

They hit the bridge nearby, but nothing was damaged there, everything is fine, ”TASS quotes him as saying.

Stremousov also noted that the strike was delivered from the HIMARS MLRS.

"Multipolar Order"

Commenting on the situation in Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the Ukrainian events could put an end to the dominance of Western countries.

He made the corresponding statement during a speech in the Romanian Beil-Tushnad.

“And a multipolar world order will knock on the door,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

According to him, peace can be established only after negotiations between Russia and the United States, and Europe missed the chance for mediation.

At the same time, anti-Russian sanctions did not shake Moscow's position.

“The strategy of the West is like a car with flat tires on all four wheels... The sanctions have not shaken Moscow,” he said.
