At present, the national overall planning of basic old-age insurance for enterprise employees is being implemented steadily, and the system is running smoothly.
In the first half of the year, the Human Resources and Social Security Department increased the support of the nationally coordinated funds for the provinces with financial difficulties, and simultaneously adjusted the basic pension level of retirees from enterprises and government agencies, so as to effectively ensure the basic living of retirees.
At the same time, we actively promoted the endowment insurance for urban and rural residents to be fully guaranteed. In the first half of the year, more than 16 million people in need paid urban and rural residents endowment insurance premiums, and 172,000 eligible fishermen who returned from fishing in key waters participated in the basic endowment insurance.
In the next step, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will continue to improve the national coordinating supporting policies for the basic endowment insurance for enterprise employees, formulate the 2022 adjustment fund allocation plan and do a good job in the fund allocation work, and further standardize the endowment insurance policies of various provinces.
At the same time, it will work with relevant departments to formulate supporting policies and determine the pilot cities for the personal pension system.
