And even if everything is decided in advance, as Jean-Jacques Goldman sang, the last stage of the Tour de France is never an ordinary stage, if only for its finale on the Champs-Elysées.

And this will be even less the case this year since for the first time in the history of the Grande Boucle, the start will be given from a closed room, namely the Paris La Défense Arena (PLDA), formerly U Arena.

In total, 15,000 spectators will be able to attend the start for free (but on condition of booking here) in the stands of the Nanterre enclosure.

If the start will not be given until 4.30 p.m., the entertainment will begin at noon with a DJ Set.

Then at 2:30 p.m., the famous Tour advertising caravan will circulate in the PLDA to distribute caps, pencils, key rings and other beer mats.

Finally, at 3:10 p.m., the 22 teams will be presented to the spectators on a giant stage.

After starting from the PDLA, the peloton will cross the business district of La Défense in the Hauts-de-Seine, then take a tour of the Yvelines before returning to Paris and the Champs-Elysées.

A day not to be missed, therefore, for cycling enthusiasts.
