The TsPVS confirmed the death of three Syrian soldiers due to an airstrike by Israeli Air Force fighters

This was announced by the deputy head of the CPVS captain of the first rank Evgeny Gerasimov.

“On July 22, from 00:32 to 00:40, two Israeli F-16 tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force, without entering Syrian airspace, attacked from the Golan Heights with eight GBU-39 guided aerial bombs on the territory of the Syrian province of Damascus,” he said.

Seven SAR soldiers were injured.

“Material damage has been caused to Syrian military infrastructure,” Gerasimov said.

On the night of July 22, it became known that the air defense system was destroying missiles in the sky over the Syrian capital Damascus.

After that, Damascus stated that Syria reserves the right to respond to the ongoing aggressive actions by Israel.
