According to a statement on the website, the EU will also add to Russia’s embargo list of materials and technologies that can be used for military use; expand existing port access bans to ship locks to prevent Russia from evading sanctions; and increase restrictions on Russian individuals and entities. However, the EU's new sanctions against Russia also allow EU member states to provide Russia with assistance in air cargo and technology; ease sanctions on third-party countries' imports of agricultural products and oil from Russia; and allow third-party countries to buy medicines and medical care from Russia instrument.
So far, the EU has passed six rounds of sanctions against Russia, including a ban on imports of Russian oil.
