The Turkish President's Office announced yesterday (21st) local time that negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, the United Nations and Turkiye have been reached to export Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea route.

According to foreign media such as Reuters, Turkiye's office said that the four delegations participating in the negotiations will meet in Istanbul today to sign the grain export agreement proposed by the United Nations.

As a result, more than 20 million tons of grains from Ukraine, which were blocked from export after the Russian invasion, will be exported again through the Black Sea, which is expected to help alleviate food shortages in Africa and other countries.
