A terrible road accident took place shortly before 4:30 p.m. this Thursday on a departmental road in Aveyron, near the town of La Bastide-Pradines, not far from Millau.

Two cars collided head-on, causing the death of two occupants of one of the vehicles, in their sixties.

Five people were also injured according to

, some very seriously, including a fifty-year-old who was in the first vehicle and a child who was in the second, transported in absolute urgency by helicopter to Montpellier hospital.

As part of the investigation which will have to determine the circumstances of this tragedy, the gendarmes of Aveyron have launched a call for witnesses on social networks.

They seek to contact anyone who would have attended, being on the departmental road 999 at the level of the place called "Côte rouge".
