A young man died overnight from Wednesday to Thursday at Rennes hospital where he had been admitted twenty-four hours earlier.

Aged 18, this seasonal worker worked at Cobac Parc, an amusement park located in Lanhélin, between Rennes and Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine).

Tuesday, the young man would have fallen from a basket located at a height of seven meters.

"According to the first elements of the investigation, he voluntarily clung to the nacelle", specifies the public prosecutor of Saint-Malo Christine Le Crom.

Originally from the area, the young man worked on the site for the summer.

For a still undetermined reason, he would have suspended himself from a gondola of the Tour du Gué, one of the park's star attractions.

The investigations are conducted by the Combourg gendarmerie brigade.

The intervention of the labor inspectorate was also requested, specifies the parquet floor of Saint-Malo.
