Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that he expects the signing of a memorandum on the grain issue at a meeting of delegations from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN this week.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that the Turkish side has done a lot to reach an agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain.

UN Secretary General António Guterres also commented on the grain export talks held in Istanbul.

According to him, the negotiators managed to come to an agreement on many significant aspects of grain exports.
