The authorities of the Kherson region announced the shelling of the bridge by 12 HIMARS missiles from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

This was reported to RIA Novosti by the deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov.

“We counted about eight hits on the Antonovsky bridge, part of the air defense intercepted.

The bridge was seriously damaged, there is serious destruction.

There is still traffic on the bridge, but it will probably be closed for heavy vehicles,” he said.

Earlier, Stremousov said that air defense systems were being strengthened in the region after the shelling of the bridge across the Dnieper.

On July 19, the Ukrainian army fired six missiles at Kherson, five of them were shot down, and one fell near the Antonovsky bridge across the Dnieper.
