“The launch of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines at full capacity fully meets the interests of Germany, and it is the supply of cheap pipeline gas from Russia that will allow Germany to avoid an energy crisis in the coming winter,” the deputy told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection stated that it considered the issue of operating Nord Stream 2 irrelevant, since the pipeline was not certified.

On June 16, the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, speaking at the SPIEF, recalled that gas can be supplied to Germany via Nord Stream 2 already today, the gas pipeline is under pressure, but it is not certified.
