“EU member states have agreed to allocate the fifth tranche of military assistance in the amount of €500 million to further support the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he wrote on Twitter.

According to Borrell, the European Union remains committed to supporting Ukraine together with partners.

On July 9, U.S. President Joe Biden ordered additional military aid to be provided to Ukraine in the amount of up to $400 million.

In addition, the United States transferred to Ukraine 12 of the promised 20 HIMARS MLRS and trained more than 200 Ukrainian military personnel in their use.
