Two (Asian) people took advantage of the trust of their sponsor, and used part of his farm without his knowledge to plant 14 narcotic marijuana plants (Indian hemp).

In detail, information was received from the Directorate of Narcotics Control in the Criminal Security Sector of Abu Dhabi Police, from security sources that two people had cultivated the narcotic marijuana plant (Indian hemp) on the farm where they worked, with the aim of promoting.

After legalizing the procedures, the farm was raided, the defendants arrested, and 14 cannabis plants were seized. By planting these narcotic plants in an out-of-sight part of the farm.

The Director of the Directorate of Narcotics Control in the Criminal Security Sector, Brigadier Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, called on farm owners to follow up on their sponsored workers, provide advice and instructions to them, and urged them not to commit any legal violations, such as possession of prohibited items or cultivation of narcotic substances such as cannabis.

He appealed to farm owners to identify and see pictures of narcotic plants, and not to hesitate to report if their presence is discovered on their farms.

Al Dhaheri called on the public to contact the Aman service at 8002626 to submit reports or information at any time.
