The first alarm came in already around 07:30 in the morning.
Then it was about 100 square meters that burned near Sörsjön in Norrköping municipality.
There, the rescue service was finished at 09:00.
At 13:15 the alarm came that about 150x150 meters of forest was burning in Brevik in Söderköping municipality.
It took several hours before RTÖG (Rescue Service Östra Götaland) could leave.
Uses helicopters
It picked up speed again just before 16:00 near Kisa down in Kinda municipality.
There, the fire managed to spread and was around 100x100 meters at 18.00.
As the terrain was very difficult to access, RTÖG received help from water-bombing helicopters from MSB (the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency).
Even at the beautiful Skiren in Norrköping municipality, the terrain was difficult to access when a fire of 50x50 meters was discovered just before 17:00.
The tough situation means that the rescue service thinks they will be finished there around 21:00.
In addition to all these, there have also been many small fires of only a few meters in size.
