Incident occurred at the Hoover Dam in the United States

It is noted that the reaction followed after a video appeared on social networks, presumably of an explosion at the base of the dam.

"Employees of the Boulder Fire Department are on an emergency call to Hoover Dam," City Hall said.

City officials have yet to release details of the incident.
