Kungsbacka municipality has distributed a corona money that is invested in the situation of the vulnerable in society.

The money will, among other things, go to equestrian therapy.

The majority of participants in equine therapy have neurospsychiatric diagnoses.

The parent Cecilia Holm has seen a great development in her daughter since the start with horse therapy three months ago.

- I would have liked more people to have this opportunity.

I think this is an incredibly good way to go and to be in this environment, she says.

"The pinball machine is winding down"

Therapy leader Jen Janzdotter has a degree in language and behavioral therapy, but has opted out of the classic therapy conversation against horse therapy.

- An ADHD brain can spin constantly, but after half an hour on horseback, the pinball machine winds down.

It's cool to be a part of, says Jen Janzdotter.

Referred from BUP

Kungsbacka municipality has 12 places for horse therapy on the farm.

Child and adolescent psychiatry also refers patients there.

For other participants who are not included in the municipality's project, the cost is paid privately.

See the horses in the clip and hear Cecilia Holm tell what the horse therapy has meant to her daughter.
