“On July 16, 2022, the body of a person accused of illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale, held in custody, was found in solitary confinement with bodily injuries in the form of a cut wound on his hand,” the Moscow Region Investigative Committee said in Telegram.
It is noted that as part of the investigation, the employees of the pre-trial detention center were interrogated, job descriptions, a guard sheet were withdrawn, and forensic examinations were appointed.
Earlier, lawyer Alexei Tsyganov confirmed the information that Vice-Rector of the Russian Customs Academy Zalim Kerefov, who was arrested in a drug trafficking case, committed suicide in a pre-trial detention center near Moscow.
