We meet Christina in a flower shop in Tallinn, where she now lives.

The store reminds her of her own home in Lviv in western Ukraine.

She was abroad when the war broke out and had just bought 200,000 tulips that could not be sent home to Ukraine as planned.

What do you do then?

- If I had depressed myself, the flowers would have been wasted and the company's finances would have been more strained.

It was my responsibility to resolve the situation, my responsibility to think of the employees who must receive their pay.

She decided to sell the flowers as Flowers for Ukraine, where the profits go to women in the Ukrainian army and doctors, among others.

She got help from volunteers and the pop-up shop was a success, so now she is doing it again in other European cities.

When we meet, she has just returned from Warsaw, where she has worked out the conditions.

Maybe it will be Stockholm next.

- We have received a good response.

People get something nice to take home that reminds them of the good things in life, while helping those who cannot help themselves.

Digital citizenship makes it possible

That she was able to get started with her business in an EU country so quickly, she says, is thanks to the Estonian "E-residency" that she acquired a year earlier.

It's like a kind of digital citizenship for companies.

Estonia stands out for its digitized authorities, and has created the opportunity for foreign entrepreneurs to use its services.

- We have upwards of 100,000 "e-residents" today, Ukrainians have long been the fastest growing proportion.

This makes it easier for their companies to do business in the EU's internal market.

The opportunity to run your business 100 percent online is something you appreciate, says Alex Wellman, communications manager for E-residency.

"Everything to fight evil"

At home in Lviv, Christina's 20 employees are struggling to get flowers out to customers.

Weddings and other events are no longer an issue.

But people still order bouquets to have a nice home.

- We do everything we can to fight evil and give our lives back to us.

It's not normal when my team has to run down to shelters all of a sudden.

But sometimes they take the flowers with them and sit down there in the basement and make bouquets that can be delivered when the flight alarm is over.
