Josep Borrell, in his blog, urged the people of Europe to show strategic patience so that sanctions against Russia prove their effectiveness.
“Borrel advises to wait for the effect of the sanctions against Russia, well, let them wait, and we will just wait for the winter,” the senator wrote on Telegram.
The head of the Federal Network Agency, Klaus Müller, earlier said that Germany's gas storage facilities were not full enough for the country to go through the winter period without Russian gas.
