The Russian Cabinet has simplified the registration of cars imported from abroad

This is stated on the website of the Cabinet.

It is emphasized that in this case we are talking about the temporary cancellation of the requirement according to which the car must be equipped with the ERA-GLONASS information system.

Prior to the approval of the document, a car without this device could not be registered with the traffic police. 

The simplified registration procedure will be valid until February 1, 2023. 

Earlier, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, announced an increase in car sales in June by 24.5% compared to May.
